There are several different sites that people commonly use for a homepage. Many search site are common as homepages. If you have a favorite hobby you might want to find a page pertaining to your hobby. You can also use your ISP's page as your homepage. Any of these options are good. In this example we'll show you how to change your homepage using Internet Explorer. We'll say we want out homepage as 'google.com'. Google is probably one of the most powerful and most used search engines on the internet. |

| Once you open up Internet Explorer, click on TOOLS at the top and then INTERNET OPTIONS. | ||||||||||||

The very first section is what we want. Once the window opens up you'll see a similiar screen as the one to the left. There are three sections here, but the first one is the one that we'll deal with. Under the ADDRESS section, simply erase what's in there, and type in the name of the page you want to use, in this case, "http://google.com". When this is done, simply hit the APPLY button and then the OKAY button at the bottom of the window. |

That's it.. Now close out Internet Explorer with the 'X' in the upper right hand corner of the screen, and next time you open up Internet Explorer and it will open to your new homepage!!! |
