From time to time you may find a need to modify the settings of your exsisting e-mail account. Most commonly, this need occours when you have an anti-virus program on your computer that sends virus reports to the various anti-virus companies. Sometimes, when they do this, the incomming or outgoing mail servers get changed in your configuration and, for some reason don't get changed back. Another time you may wish to check these settings is when you are having problems with recieving or sending mail. In this section, we'll show you how to change or modify your exsisting mail accounts. Outlook express is primarily the same for all versions of Windows, with some minor differenced in Windows XP; we'll show those differences here as well. |
