Click
on the CONNECTION tab. Set the port speed to the speed of the modem.
(ie. if you have a 56K modem set the port speed to 57600, if you have
a 2400 baud modem set it to 2400) Flow control should
be set
to CTS & RTS (DTR).
The Modem init string should be blank unless you've been having problems
with connecting.
Click on the OPTIONS tab. (Pictured below)
The "Domain name" can be blank or you can put in the last part of your
e-mail address. (ie. you're e-mail address is fred@flintstones.com, your
DOMAIN
name would be flintstones.com) The Primary and Secondary DNS
numbers will either be provided to you by your ISP, or if they were not,
you can leave these fields blank. |
